5 Surefire Ways To Ruin Any Website

Owning a website gives you certain rights. For example, you have the right to plaster URL around doors and windows of his SUV with the hope that someone in one of seven cars passing on the way to work shows the need to visit your website and spend large sums of money. You own the site, which is your right. You also have the right to publish photos of your family, friends, pets and other images totally devoid of interest throughout your site after all is yours. One of the more rights you have as a webmaster is the right to make your website successful (and profitable) or to run on the ground like a 737 missing both engines and landing gear. For those of you who despise online success and frown upon the riches of cyberspace I’ve compiled a list of 5 ways to ruin any website.

1. Make your website as messy as possible

Nothing makes visitors leave faster than a cluttered site that is difficult to navigate around. So if you want people to flee their site like a ravenous wolf, then make sure you put all that trash can on the home page. Then click on the links with the rest of the site difficult to find. Make sure you have lots and lots of images, forms, banners and pop-ups as well. All relevant information should be well hidden, and the main focus must appear that many programs you want visitors to sign up. That should keep any pesky visitors always return.

2. Never update your website

If someone visits your web site today and then come back six months from now should see the same information. Nothing should be updated. This lets them know that you care nothing about the website and they have nothing new to offer. The next time you see an ad for your site that does not even bother to visit. Very good!
